1. Botox for Forehead Lines

Botox treatment is proven and effective way of getting rid of deep forehead lines or frontalis lines, plumping and firming for a smoother and tighter looking facial appearance. Life is not always as idyllic as we would like it to be, meaning that forehead lines form on the face. With our natural production of Collagen and Hyaluronic Acid diminishing as we get older, these tell-tale forehead lines can become deeper, causing us to lose confidence in our appearance and worry that others will notice that we are ageing. Confidence is lessened, leaving us to be bothered about how we look when we leave the house.

BOTOX Injections, are a proven and effective way of getting rid of deep forehead lines or frontalis lines, plumping and firming for a smoother and tighter looking facial appearance. 2. Botox for Crow’s Feet – Lines on the upper two thirds of the lateral eye.

Crow’s Feet / smile lines / eye wrinkles occur when a person smiles, using the outside part of their orbicularis oculi muscle. Botox injections are excellent at relaxing those lines of crow’s feet. Crow’s Feet, also known as ‘laughter lines’, occur from as early as in our 20’s, forming lines around the outer eye area. Every day as we laugh, talk, eat and even sleep, our faces move with facial expressions in order to express our emotions and help us function, but as we age, the skin loses its ability to produce collagen in the same quantity as previously, leaving the skin less firm, looking dull and with those tell-tale lines and wrinkles.

Wrinkle Reducing Injections like BOTOX, instantly reverse the signs of ageing, with lines diminished and skin looking plumper, firmer and smoother. Make-up will sit more beautifully on the skin with no annoying clump or build-up. Restoring your beauty confidence, others will notice that you look more energised with your complexion rejuvenated.

3. Botox for Frown Lines / Glabellar Lines – Vertical lines between the eyebrows that resemble the number 11.

Botox injections are used to relax the frown lines to make the patient look less angry. Frown lines aka glabella frown lines are the vertical lines which appear in your forehead when you’re expressing a negative emotion like, anger, concern or worry. As we age, the skin loses elasticity which results in tell-tale frown lines and deep frown lines. Most commonly frown lines are found around the eye, forehead and mouth, and they can increase the signs of ageing and effect your beauty confidence.

Our premium quality wrinkle reducing injection BOTOX bring an instant boost to the skin with frown lines diminished and more youthful and vibrant complexion revealed. BOTOX treatment brings long-lasting results the reverses the signs of ageing, bringing you smoother, tighter and firmer skin. With a highly visible enhancement to how you look, you will feel beautified and proud to hold your head up high.

Treatment of vertical glabellar frown lines is perhaps the most commonly administered BOTOX treatment. Vertical frown lines form in the glabellar area after repeated frowning caused variously by expressions of disapproval, anxiety, and anger.

4. Botox for Bunny Lines – Lines across the bridge of the nose.

Botox treatment for bunny lines aims to minimise the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines that appear diagonally on both sides of your nose. Do you get small lines at the side of your nose when you laugh, eat or express emotion? These lines, commonly known as ‘Bunny Lines’, occur as part of the body’s natural ageing process. As the body’s natural collagen production process lessens as does the occurrence of Hyaluronic Acid, it is common for these wrinkles to appear.

BOTOX Injections, provide an effective and instant solution to the problem, diminishing and lessening lines and wrinkles whilst smoothing and firming the skin for a more vibrant, youthful look. Your confidence will be increased as you feel free to laugh again without fear of looking old beyond your years.

To treat the bunny lines we inject anything from 5 to 10 units BOTOX in total. People only need just a bit of BOTOX high up on the nose and to the sides of the bridge of the nose. Too much use of Botox may be dangerous.

6. Botox for Masseter (Jaw) Muscles

Masseteric hypertrophy is caused by Bruxism, which is the involuntary or habitual grinding of the teeth, typically during the night. This will cause the masseters to enlarge and if left untreated will cause TMJ dysfunction. Botox treats this condition. One of the latest trends in the fight against signs of ageing is BOTOX Injections for the lower jaw, also known as the jowl. Tightening and smoothing, your face looks more defined, more useful and with a refined shape. As we age, our bodies natural repair system diminishes with a lessening in production of Collagen and Hyaluronic Acid. This results in a sagging of the face which often means an accumulation of excess fats to the jaw line area.

MASSETER BOTOX is ideal for patients who are grinding, clenching, and wearing out their teeth and need a lot of dental work, for patients who have frequent tension or migraine headaches, and for patients who do not like the shape of their face because of square or thick jaw line and who want to appear more feminine.

Rupesh employs another new technique that reduces the width of the jawline. BOTOX Injection is injected into the ‘chewing’ muscles of the jaw (called the masseter muscle) to reduce its size. In some ethnicities (particularly oriental ladies), patients have a tendency to develop overly square masculine facial features. BOTOX Injection can reduce the overall size of the masseter muscle, allowing for improved facial proportions. Unlike regular Anti-Wrinkle Injection of the upper face where results are evident in approximately 7 to 10 days following treatment and last about 3 to 4 months, BOTOX Injection to the masseter takes about 6 weeks before you see the difference and will last typically around 6 months.

The amount of Botox needed to treat this area ranges between 60 and 100 units of Botox, depending on the thickness of the muscle. Patients can expect headaches and clenching to go away within a week and will see the full effects of jaw thinning about one month after treatment, when the muscle has had time to atrophy.

There’s no swelling, no downtime. It is the most magical treatment we do at our skin clinic. Patients can go back to their normal activities. They can exercise. They can do whatever they want that day. Most people come in during their lunch break, they get injected. You can’t even see the pinprick of the needle.

Patients should return to the cosmetic clinic for treatment every six months, which is longer than the typical two-month interval for injecting Botox in other areas. Most of our patients present back in six months and say they were just starting to get headaches again or were just noticing that it was time for treatment and with follow-up injection; they feel great again.

For optimal results, we use a high enough dose—if you under-dose, treatment will not be effective.

7. Botox Brow Lift – Creates a lifting effect of the brow.

As we age, our brows start to droop and we look more tired. The most superior non-invasive treatment to lift the brows is muscle relaxing, Botox injections. One of the most effective ways to restore a youthful vibrancy to the face and reverse the signs of ageing is by having BOTOX Injections to the eyebrows.

Today’s BOTOX Injections are focused on a highly natural look that will ensure that other people are unaware of any treatment you have had. Lifting the eyebrows widens and awakens the eye area whilst defining the whole facial shape. Eyes look lighter and brighter, making you feel on top of your beauty game. Make-up will be easier to apply allowing you to express your beauty personality with a more youthful appearance.

The position and shape of the eyebrows are critical in defining the face. The highest point of the eyebrow curve is two thirds from the middle edge. Male eyebrows are lower and straighter. The shape and position of eyebrows is determined by one muscle: the frontalis pulling upwards and four sets of muscles pulling the eyebrows down. Careful use of BOTOX INJECTIONS can adjust this balance to lift and enhance eyebrow shape and position.

We generally use 7 small injections to the frown and 2 or 3 injections to the outer part of the brow to create a perfect BOTOX EYEBROW LIFT.

8. Botox for Gummy Smile – Smile with over exposure of the upper teeth and gums.

Gummy smile is a very common problem where on smiling, a large area of gum can be seen above the upper teeth. Sometimes gummy smiles are genetic, and will run in a family. A small dose of Botox injected around the nose sorts this out. If you are frightened to smile as you are bothered about the heightened appearance of your gums then your life can be really affected.

A gummy smile occurs when the upper lip is higher than normal, so exposing the gum area and causing embarrassment and distress. The causes is hyperactive muscle which elevates the upper lip. Occasionally, the gummy smile is also aggravated by a thin upper lip that further contributes to the problem by exposing the upper gum even more. However, the good news is that there is an easy and effective solution to the problem of gummy smile.

BOTOX Injections, help by firming the muscles of the lip as well as plumping, meaning that the lip area is restored to a more natural firm fullness disguises any areas of excess gum.

Botox Treatment involves normally just 2 small injections of 1-3 units per side of the nose. The muscle injected is called the levator labii superioris alaeque nasi (LLSAN). This muscle is bilateral down the sides of the nose and the action of the muscle is to pull the top lip up when smiling. When a small amount of anti-wrinkle injections are injected into this muscle, it temporarily relaxes the muscle down, which results in showing less gum.

9. Botox for Neck (Platysma Bands) – Ageing muscle neck lines/bands.

Botox injections into the platysmal band muscles can lengthen the bands, improving the appearance of the neck and jawline. When it comes to ageing, the neck is often seen as one of the most obvious areas that shows those tell-tale signs as well as being known to be one of the most difficult areas to correct. Deep lines & sagging skin collect around the neck, with other people being able to see the results of ageing more than on the face as it cannot be covered with make-up. Becoming more noticeable as we express our emotions, wrinkled necklines can be a real cause of distress to many.

BOTOX Injections, help to smooth and firm the skin around the neck area, meaning that rings and horizontal lines are quickly and noticeably diminished. The neck looks younger, meaning that nobody will be able to distinguish your age, and boosting your beauty confidence.

Rupesh employs a new technique which involves placing multiple injections of BOTOX horizontally along the lower jawline and vertically down the side of the neck along the platysmal band muscles. These bands are what pull down on the lower side of the face and aggravate the jowls. The effect is to improve the definition of the jawline, relax the jowls, and provide an ‘upward lifting effect’ in the neck and jaw area. Like the face, treatments last on average 3-4 months.

10. Botox for Hyperhidrosis – Excessive sweating in areas such as forehead, the palms of the hands and underarms area.

Botox London can be administered to people who sweat excessively from their armpits. It may also be used “off-label” to reduce sweating in other areas which cause Excessive Sweating, such as the hands, feet, and face. This paralysis their sweat glands to secrete less. Excessive Sweating, also known medically as Hyperhidrosis, is a highly embarrassing condition that can severely affect our quality-of-life. With many causes, but it being exceedingly hard to find an effective solution for Excessive Sweating,  your day-to-day existence can become dominated by worry and this can exacerbate the problem of excessive sweating further.

BOTOX Injections, bring a genuine and quick solution to sufferers by interrupting the nerve signals to the brain that make us sweat. This means that you can carry on your life free of interruption and concern, letting your confidence shine through and letting you be around others without any embarrassment. BOTOX Injections in armpits for excessive sweating is becoming a very popular treatment for both men and women.

How Does The Botox Hyperhidrosis Treatment Work:

Anti-sweat injections work by temporarily blocking the chemical signals from the nerves that stimulate sweating. Stopping these signals, stops the sweating.

What To Expect During And After Your Anti-Sweat Injections:

  • The area will be marked out for treatment.
  • 10 to 20 injections of BOTOX will be administered per armpit.
  • After the injections are administered icepacks will be applied to the area for 5 minutes.
  • Typically you will be able to return to work and normal activities straight away.
  • Most patients begin to notice reduction of excessive sweating within 8 – 14 days

Is The Hyperhidrosis Treatment Painful?

The injections are considered tolerable.  The injection needle itself is very small, however you will need to tolerate 10 to 20 injections per underarm.

How Safe Is The Treatment?

Anti-sweat injections are proven to be safe.

How Long Does The Result Last?

This treatment gives a temporary result.  3 or 4 treatments per year is a common patient treatment plan.

11. Botox for Smokers Lines

The vertical lines above your mouth can be relaxed using Botox injections. Fine lines on the upper lip, also known as ‘Smoker’s Lines’, are not just a tell-tale sign of smoking. With the mouth being a very busy area of the face as it is where we directly speak and eat, it is little wonder that many of us succumb to tell-tale lines and wrinkles around this area. Increasing over time as we naturally produce less Collagen and Hyaluronic Acid, small lines deepen and become more obvious. This can result in make-up sitting in the creases, so drawing even more attention to the area.

BOTOX Injections diminish Smoker’s Lines, restoring a look of youth and enabling you to no longer be self-conscious about this common sign of ageing.

12. Botox for Lip Flip

The latest craze is to have a Lip Flip. This creates a fuller, plumper, but natural-appearing upper lip.

Botox Treatments in London Lip Clinic
Botox Treatments in London Lip Clinic

Botox is a Botulinum toxin type A used in non-surgical cosmetic treatments. It is classified as  surgical procedures. It is conducted in the clinic by an aesthetic doctor who will ask you to contract your muscle. It is classified  as a non surgical cosmetic treatments and do not require surgery carried out by plastic surgeons.

Botox should not be used while nursing or pregnant. Botox injections are recognised as safe and, as yet, they have not been reported to transfer from mother to child. But, Botox injections contain neurotoxins that can be dangerous in large doses or for people allergic to these chemicals. Disease or infection caused by botulinum toxins is called botulism. Botulism can be life-threatening, especially in pregnant women, infants, those who are immune compromised or with gastrointestinal conditions. Though some research has found that botulinum toxins may be too large to cross the placenta during pregnancy, pregnant and nursing women are encouraged to avoid potential sources of the toxin, including certain foods. All infants should not be allowed to consume foods that are considered common sources of botulinum.

Hence we do not administer BOTOX to pregnant or breast feeding women.

BOTOX  ( botulinum toxin type a ) is a prescription only medicine licensed for cosmetic use by medical professionals. It is one of the most popular treatments at our London clinic. Botox acts by blocking acetylcholine, a chemical that is responsible for transmitting electrical impulses that cause facial muscles to contract in your face. This results in muscle paralysis. The resultant paralysis, however, is temporary, as the new growth of nerves will re-innervate the muscles. Hence Botox treatment is not permanent. For best results and to achieve natural result one has to find a really good experienced practitioner like Rupesh.

Facial areas of concern are assessed after their medical history and medical conditions are taken by Rupesh and the patient simultaneously using a handheld mirror during the initial consultation. Asymmetries such as uneven eyebrow height and eye aperture are identified. Areas are prioritised and treatment options discussed, including anticipated results, effects of Botox and possible complications. Photographs are taken as with any aesthetic procedure. Dynamic wrinkles and static photographs of treatment areas are typically taken before treatment and two weeks after treatment, once clinical effects are evident. Botox will give you that youthful look your are wanting.

Make sure you know what is injected into your face. Allergan, Merz, and Galderma are three of the top manufacturers of neurotoxins and fillers—like Botox, Bocouture, Xeomin, Azzalure, and Dysport. We only use the original Allergan Botox at our clinic.

In preparation for botulinum neurotoxin toxin treatment ( anti-wrinkle injections ), or any injectable procedure, bruising can be minimised by discontinuing aspirin and any medication or dietary supplement that has anticoagulant effects two weeks before treatment as this can lead to bruising.

To minimise the chance of bruising from the filler injection:

  • Do not take any aspirin, ibuprofen or similar products (Nurofen, Cuprofen etc) for 1 week prior to filler.
  • Avoid fish oil, Vitamin E, and gingko biloba for 1 week prior to filler.
  • Eat spinach, kale and celery the week before to boost your levels of Vitamin K.
  • Avoid eating apples or large quantities of garlic before your appointment.
  • Apply Arnica Cream to areas most affecting by bruising (around the mouth and under the eyes) for several days before injection. This contains Arnica and is available for purchase at any pharmacy or health food shop.
  • Additional Instructions:
  • Hydrate and eat a large meal before filler and bring a snack to eat right before the injection. It is important to have a full meal before a Botox appointment.
  • Clear your schedule after Botox so you can take time to ice your face and relax.

Botox ( botulinum toxin type a) is injected directly into the muscles at the affected area that cause the wrinkles, using a very small fine needle. Several injections are usually needed at specific sites, depending on the area treated (e.g frown, forehead, crow’s feet, bunny lines etc). When used to treat excessive sweating in the armpits, Botox is injected directed into the axillary skin. Localised discomfort and bruises can occur. Normal daily activities can be resumed immediately.

Patients are advised to avoid lying down following treatment for four hours. They are also advised to avoid massaging or applying heat to the treatment area, and to avoid activities that cause flushing (such as exercising heavily, consuming alcohol, and hot tub, sauna, etc) on the day of treatment. These aftercare practices are used to reduce potential spread of the BOTOX toxin and ensures an effective treatment.

To allow the BOTOX to work optimally in the target muscle, the following precautions are usually suggested:

  • No rubbing or massaging of the injected area for 4 hours after treatment, including facials.
  • No strenuous exercise for 24 hours after treatment.
  • Keep upright for 4 hours — no lying on your front. Avoid activities such as shoe shopping.
  • Avoid headwear that is tightly fitted across the forehead.
  • Avoid excessive alcohol or medically necessary blood thinning medication before the treatment to prevent bruising.

Partial reduction in function of the targeted muscles is seen by the third or fourth day after botulinum neurotoxin toxin injection, with maximal reduction visible two weeks after injection. Return of muscle function is gradual, typically three to four months after treatment. Subsequent Botox treatment is advised when muscle contraction is visible in the treatment area before facial lines return to their pretreatment appearance. After multiple Botox treatments, botulinum toxin (Botox) effects may be prolonged and, for some patients, treatment intervals can be extended beyond three to four months.

Baby Botox is requested by a lot of nervous first timers. Baby Botox is simply injecting botox using a lower volume of Botox than a traditional injection to smooth fine lines and wrinkles. Traditionally we would inject around 25 units in an area, whilst if you carried out Baby Botox then you would only inject around 12 units. Most of our patients ask us to refresh their looks with all our injectable treatments so they simply look youthful. At our central London clinic we do not want to create frozen looks.

BOTOX is an effective treatment for men for facial lines and wrinkles. More than ever, male patients are turning to Botox® to combat the signs of ageing and skin damage, and achieve firmer, younger-looking skin and an overall improved appearance and increased self-confidence.From the treatment of “crow’s feet” at the edge of the eyes to glabellar lines (wrinkles between the brows), BOTOX Injections can smooth a wide range of facial lines and wrinkles in men with a simple 15-minute treatment.

When you arrive at our Central London, Harley Street Clinic for your BOTOX Injection treatment, you will first greeted by our Receptionist and guided to Rupesh room. You will be asked to fill out patient information and other forms before you start to discuss your expectations for the procedure. At this time, it is important to be honest about any allergies or other conditions that may not make you a good candidate for BOTOX treatment.

Rupesh will decide where to administer the BOTOX injections by asking you to contract certain facial muscles. Based on your desired results and your ability to move these facial muscles, he will mark the locations to be treated. Any discomfort from the injections is usually minimal and lasts only a short time. The actual BOTOX LONDON Injection treatment typically takes about 10 minutes. After the BOTOX treatment is complete, you can return to your daily activities almost immediately. Men have larger muscles hence they always require almost double the doses of what we administer women.

You should see a noticeable improvement after your Botox injection treatment in the treated areas within a few days after having the BOTOX treatment procedure, and the appearance of wrinkles should continue to improve for up to a month. BROTOX treatment results in men typically last up to three to four months.

The effects of anti-wrinkle injectables for men (brotox) last around three to four months, due to the muscle action returning over time. This is when wrinkles start to reappear and a touch up may be required. It can take multiple treatments for your muscles to respond fully to the toxin. Most clients notice that repeated use of Brotox over time results in lines re-appearing slower, thus delaying the need to retouch as often. This is because your skin has more time to regenerate the collagen it needs to fill in those lines and wrinkles.

BOTOX injections for men are a very subtle way to improve the appearance of the face. The doses required for men are slightly higher than the women’s doses hence their is a small supplement charge.

BOTOX LONDON are very popular treatment for both men and women.

The cost of Botox treatment depends on the areas injected and units of Botox injected. All clinics set their own prices. We believe in being transparent with our pricing structure. See our Botox Prices. Botox appointments are available online.

Avoid rubbing or touching the injected areas and avoid having facials and massage for 48 hours this is to ensure that the treatment remains at the site of injection.

Avoid vigorous exercise and alcohol-based products on the area treated for 48 hours.

If bruising develops the you can apply Arnica cream.

Paracetamol can be taken for mild pain post BOTOX procedure.

BOTOX, BOCOUTURE and Azzalure, are the three types of Botulinum Toxin Type A available for cosmetic use in the UK.

Botox is the most famous brand, mass-produced first in the 1990’s for treatment of facial aesthetic concerns.

Botox has more proteins; it is more like the natural product but may stimulate a greater immune response compared to the other products. Azzalure and Bocouture have fewer proteins, with Bocouture containing the least. This makes the product more “pure” but it may NOT contain all the properties conferred by Botox.

We find that the SUPER clinical results and longevity we get using the category leader(1) BOTOX following the treatment makes BOTOX works best for us.

There is a major difference in prices between the brands as well. Make sure you know and ask your practitioner what toxin they are using before booking your treatment.

BOTOX injections work by interrupting the nerve transmission to major facial muscles, resulting in a more at-ease expression with a subtle and natural softening of any wrinkling or lines. Doses are kept minimal so that facial expression and skin sensation are not affected.

It usually takes between 3-7 days before the full effects of the treatment can be enjoyed. These results will last 2-4 months. As well as making you look younger, they can also make people appear more relaxed and less tired too.

Botox derives from a bacterium called Clostridium botulinum. This bacterium is present in many natural settings, including soil, lakes, forests, and in the intestinal tracts of mammals and fish.

Naturally occurring Clostridium botulinum bacteria and spores are generally harmless. Problems only arise when the spores transform and the cell population increases. At a certain point, the bacteria begin producing botulinum toxin, the deadly neurotoxin responsible for botulism.

Botulinum toxin is extremely toxic. In fact, some scientists have estimated that 1 gram (g) of crystalline toxin could kill 1 million people and a couple of kilograms could kill every human on earth.

However, according to the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, (AOCD), Botox is safe and has few side effects when used in a therapeutic context.

Manufacturers make Botox injections from very small doses of botulinum toxin. The drug can temporarily paralyze muscles, which can benefit a range of muscle- and nerve-related disorders.

Commercial versions of Botulinum toxin include:

  • Botox (onabotulinumtoxin A)
  • Dysport (abobotulinumtoxin A)
  • Xeomin (incobotulinumtoxin A)
  • Jeuveau (prabotulinumtoxin A)

People use the term BOTOX interchangeably for these various products, though “Botox” is the registered trademark of Allergan Inc. (Taken from:

It’s not your age that determines when BOTOX is right for you, it’s the severity of your lines. We are seeing a rise in injectable treatments for patients in their early 30’s.

The truth is, everyone’s lines form differently. The timing can be influenced by a combination of factors, from cellular changes that may occur over time, to reduction of collagen, to genetic factors, or damage caused by free radicals from the sun and the environment.

Whenever your lines start to bother you, come and speak to Rupesh. He can help you determine if BOTOX treatment is right for you.

What to Expect From a First Time Botox : BEFORE AND AFTER BOTOX

The effects of a Botox procedure will vary from person to person, and your first time Botox treatment will likely make you nervous. Well, we’ve got your back – Botox isn’t scary, and in our professional hands, you’ll have nothing to fear – A younger, fresher-looking appearance is in your grasp. The Before the Botox Procedure and After Botox Procedure is listed on our website.

We find that the SUPER clinical results and longevity we get using the category leader(1) BOTOX following the treatment makes BOTOX work best for us. There is a major difference in prices between the brands as well. Make sure you know and ask your practitioner what toxin they are using before booking your treatment if you plan to visit other clinics.

Treatment with BOTOX is customised to your goals and needs. When you meet Rupesh, he will determine the appropriate treatment for any areas you wish to address, including moderate to severe frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead lines.

For the crow’s feet area, Rupesh will roughly inject 3 areas of the muscle that frames the side of the eye. This will be repeated on the muscle that frames the other eye.

For the frown lines area, Rupesh will roughly administer 5 injections into the muscles between your brows and in your forehead.

For the forehead lines area, Rupesh will administer roughly 5 injections into a muscle in your forehead.

There are two reasons not to exercise right after Botox treatments. You are allowed to resume exercise, for the most part except in special cases, the following day.

Exercise increases circulation in the body, including the face, which is why your face flushes and gets red when you work out. This increased circulation increase the risk that the Botox will be taken away from the injection zone before it gets fully absorbed into the neuromuscular junction.

1) it may leave less Botox where we want it, and possibly decrease the effect, and

2) we do not want to do anything that increases the risk that the Botox will act anywhere other than where it is intended.

RUPESH sees and injects BOTOX to all his patients himself. He has been injecting patients for more than 10 years.

In accordance with the GPhC regulations, all of his anti-wrinkle Botox treatments are carried out by Rupesh. Unlike many of the other clinics in Harley Street, he does your full consultation and then performs the treatment himself. The treatment is painless (aside from a slight prick as the needle is first inserted), due to the tiny acupressure size needles that we use.

Rupesh can administer Botox injections in just 15 minutes, making this a very quick and straightforward procedure. However, your comfort is always our top priority and you will never feel rushed. Every treatment is only given after a thorough face-to-face consultation with Rupesh, who will use his wealth of experience and training to assess your facial muscle tone and skin quality to ensure that you get the best treatment possible. Rupesh will also talk through your expectations, so that you get the results that you are dreaming of.

Some patients wonder, can Botox make you nauseous? Though it is extremely uncommon, Botox can occasionally cause flu-like symptoms, which can include nausea. However, this side effect is rather uncommon, and typically patients will feel back to normal shortly after their treatment session.

We are able to offer a safe and successful treatment experience with Botox. However, many medical spas and “Botox parties” offer Botox treatments with inexperienced injectors, and this can lead to serious side effects. In these environments, health and safety are at greater risk, and the toxin could spread into the body. If you have recently received Botox injections from an inexperienced injector and are experiencing muscle weakness, blurred vision or double vision, difficulty breathing, difficulty speaking, painful urination, or urinary incontinence, contact a healthcare professional immediately.

Side effects caused by Botox injections typically resolve a few days after treatment. In rare cases, side effects such as droopy eyelids can last several weeks after treatment. Nevertheless, most side effects from Botox resolve on their own, within a few months, and are not permanent.

In rare events, patients can be exposed to toxin spread, and Botox can lead to an infection akin to botulism, can have severe side effects and must be treated immediately. Inexperienced injectors are in large part the cause of severe risk or long-term side effects during Botox injections, which is why it is essential you work with an experienced medical professional for any Botox injections or treatment.

For many patients, long-term use of Botox can have wonderful effects. Particularly when it comes to cosmetic treatment, continued use of Botox can help to relax the facial muscles and, in turn, reduce the severity of dynamic wrinkles. For many who continually use Botox in the form of micro-botox or touch-up injections, Botox actually can manage to “turn back the clock” on ageing, creating natural-looking rejuvenation thanks to Rupesh’s less-is-more philosophy and artful hand.

For patients who suffer from issues such as TMJ disorder, chronic migraines, or hyperhidrosis, a series of Botox treatments can help to permanently improve quality of life. Botox’s ability to disrupt nerve signals to targeted muscles can in turn reduce symptoms of pain caused by overactive muscle groups, and its non-invasive nature can allow patients to heal with no downtime needed.
