BOTOX LIP FLIP is the non-surgical subtle procedure of injecting BOTOX into the upper lip border to make it ‘flip’ and enhance the shape and achieve a fuller upper lip.
LIPS
Your lips look immediately fuller 3-7 days after the procedure. After about a week, the injections make your lip look fuller or “poutier” without adding any volume to your lip.
Rupesh says, ‘lip flip is a fairly low-risk procedure but needs to be performed by an experienced injector. There is the potential of minor bruising or swelling that resolves quickly as with other injections. It is a great low-cost and has low-downtime. It evens the upper lip so you get more lip show without any filler.”
BOTOX LIP FLIP involves the precise placement of just a few units of BOTOX along with the upper lip muscle, and cupids bow at certain points, near the border, to relax and ‘flip’ the lip to make the lip much more visible. This results in a fuller, plumper, but natural-appearing upper lip. Which only takes ten to fifteen minutes. When injecting Botox into the orbicularis oris muscle (which is the muscle surrounding the lips), the effect is that the targeted muscle relaxes. Using Botox to perform a Botox lip flip can help relax the muscle, therefore allowing the lip to flip upwards, creating a poutier look. Over the next few weeks the lips will appear larger and fuller.
BOTOX LIP FLIP results in a fuller upper lip, short recovery, very few risks, results in a few days, provides a natural appearance without looking drastically different, non-surgical and it is a cost-effective alternative to lip fillers. Results last around two to three months (since only very small amounts of BOTOX are injected into the lips). You need to understand that Botox lip flips only roll the upper lip out, making thing lips appear fuller; they don’t add volume to the lips. Hence if you require a bigger pout than lip fillers may be more appropriate for you.

LIP FLIP
A lip flip treatment is not suitable for everyone. If you are someone who suffers from having a gummy smile or very thin lip that folds inwards when smiling or laughing you may be a good candidate for this procedure. However; depending on your natural anatomy, if you are someone who has smaller teeth this procedure may not benefit you as relaxing the lip muscle can cause your top lip to completely cover your teeth when smiling and talking. Unlike dermal filler, the results are not instant. It will be about 7 -10 days before you fully see the true results of the lip flip.
